Shipping policy

This policy explains how ResinX delivers orders and where you can collect them. It should be read with our Terms of use and Returns policy. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

1. Two ways to buy

Online. Products with an online price can be bought through the shop and paid for in our Shopify-hosted checkout.

On quote. Larger packs, and products supplied on request, are quoted. Flammable and hazardous goods need delivery arranged for each order, so we confirm delivery method, cost and timing in your quote before you commit.

2. Collection points

You can collect your order from one of our collection points:

• Brackenfell
• George
• Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
• Johannesburg

Please contact us to arrange collection so we can confirm when your order will be ready. You can also choose to have your order delivered.

3. Delivery times

Processing and delivery take 3 to 5 working days. Times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by stock, carrier schedules, public holidays and events outside our control. If a delay is significant we will tell you.

4. Dangerous goods

Many of our products are flammable or hazardous. Dangerous goods are sent by a specialised carrier and may be quoted separately. Their transport is subject to dangerous-goods and carrier rules, including packaging, quantity limits and labelling. As a result:

• some products, quantities or destinations may need delivery arranged specially;
• we may need extra information from you, such as a delivery contact who can receive hazardous goods;
• we may refuse to dispatch an order that cannot be delivered safely or lawfully, and will refund any payment for goods not sent.

5. Delivery costs

Prices shown on the site include VAT in rand. Delivery charges are shown before you pay, at checkout or in your quote.

6. Quote orders

When we send your quote we confirm the delivery method, cost, expected date and any site requirements, such as access and who can sign for the goods. Please give a delivery contact who can receive hazardous goods. A quote is valid for 72 hours and quoted orders are payable on acceptance of the quote.

7. Receiving your order

• Someone must be present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods. Hazardous goods cannot be left unattended.
• Please check your goods when they arrive. Tell us at once about damage, leaks, missing items or incorrect products, and keep the packaging and take photos. See the Returns policy.

8. Risk and ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the delivery address, or when you or your carrier collect them. Ownership passes on payment in full, as set out in our Terms of use.

9. Addresses

Please check the delivery address and contact number before you pay. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information you provided. Delivery to some addresses, for example PO boxes, is not possible for hazardous goods.
